You Can Still Live A Wonderful Life While Battling Anxiety & Depression

I used to think that I had to “feel good” to make the most of each day.

I was wrong.

Maybe you’re under the impression that everyone else is enjoying their lives, while you’re suffering alone…But that’s not the truth. We are all battling something, whatever that may be. Yet, there are some people making the most of their days, despite their struggles.

This probably didn’t really set in within my heart until I began writing. Most days I was just “existing”, battling the same thoughts and the same pain as the day before. It was when I began writing and finding that others were being encouraged through my work that I realized: my life could still be wonderful, even when I didn’t feel wonderful.

What are you doing today? Who will you be seeing today that might just need an encouraging word or a warm embrace? What creation is burning within your soul, yearning to be brought to life?

You create the future by your choices, not by your feelings or by the opinions of others.

Just like my former self, it’s time to stop hiding behind the belief that you’re too depressed and anxious to make anything of your day. That’s simply not true. You’ve been given the power to create the future, so go create! Go imagine! Go do, in spite of your feelings.

Your feelings don’t determine who you become.
